RVFD currently maintains official social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram Twitter and NextDoor and may add additional accounts or remove accounts from time to time (collectively RVFD’s “Social Media”). Our Social Media pages are not monitored 24/7. For emergencies, please dial 911.
RVFD Social Media is a moderated online discussion site and is not a public forum. Use of RVFD Social Media is subject to these Terms of Use in addition to the terms of use of the various social media platforms, all as may be amended from time to time.
The primary purpose of RVFD’s use of social media tools is to communicate news, alerts, events and information to residents, businesses, and other visitors to RVFD Social Media, and to promote the public safety, health, and wellbeing of our community as related to our mission as a fire and emergency medical services provider.
Comments to our posts on social media sites do not reflect the opinions and position of RVFD, or its employees. RVFD is not responsible or liable for comments or feedback posted by any user of RVFD Social Media. RVFD may suspend the acceptance of comments on any or all of its Social Media at any time and without notice.
Posts to RVFD Social Media are neither private nor confidential. Users of RVFD Social Media do not retain any rights over their posts which are intended for public view and any posting by the user of the user’s personal information constitutes is a release and waiver of any rights to privacy the user may otherwise have had.
By commenting or posting on RVFD’s social media accounts, you authorize RVFD, in its sole discretion, to remove content and/or block you if your posts are deemed inappropriate including but not limited to any of the following or links to any of the following:

- Promote or solicit commercial services or products;
- Promote or solicit fundraising; or,
- Support or oppose political candidates or ballot measures.
